  1. What the desk stores

    The desk stores your name, your email address, journal entries, recipes, files, and a record of what the agent did.

  2. Where it lives

    The desk is stored in Sydney.

  3. An account

    1992 is invite only. An account starts from an invitation.

  4. The agent

    The agent sends the text of a task to the model provider that pays for it, or to the provider for a key you add yourself.

  5. Other services

    Neon holds the database. Vercel hosts the site. Resend sends email. Ably carries live updates on the desk. Cloudflare Turnstile checks a form when it is switched on.

  6. Acceptable use

    Use the desk for your own work. Do not use it to break the law, to attack another service, or to publish material you have no right to publish.

  7. A public desk

    A public desk can be reported and suspended. A suspended desk is no longer public.
